The first time I felt like I did something that mattered was passing legislation and making accessible technology for loved ones with disabilities. I’m very curious about what happens when huge, established systems (gov/legal/...) face industrial revolution scale technological change––and how to positively shape those outcomes.

I work on AI policy at

Encode AIwhere we wield policy as a tool for catalyzing and steering technology’s potential. We channel funding toward innovation and establish safeguards for everything from national security to child safety.
